Rescuing,
caring for and rehoming cats and dogs in the Newcastle, Northumberland
and Tyne and Wear area. They operate a spay / neuter program, which is
helping to reduce the future stray population. The group promotes responsible
pet ownership, and can offer advice on pet care. Permanent loving homes
are always needed for rescued animals in their care.

Rescuing and
rehoming through a series of foster homes and kennels since April 2003,
during which time they have helped hundreds of cats and kittens to find
new homes. They are also involved with the rescue of dogs and other animals.
The rescue is funded by two support shops selling donated goods. The group
is working towards establishing a permanent rehoming centre. Registered

farm animals. We have been known to rescue ducks, cats, chickens, rabbits,
pigs, pigeons, cows, goats and sheep. In fact anything with a pulse, apart
from children!
