If you have ever lost a pet you will know just how worrying it can be and understand the importance of making sure that they are properly identified so that, when found, they can be returned to you as quickly as possible.

As a pet owner, you have a legal requirement to ensure that your pet is under your control and that includes proper identification with a suitable collar and tag. In some cases, these can come astray and a microchip is vital as a permanent form of identification that will be in place for life.

Registration onto the international database included in the price.This is on hand 24 hours a day to authorised bodies such as dog wardens or animal welfare centres, who can scan the chips in found animals and trace their owners via the database.

Once implanted with a microchip that is part of the scheme, your pet’s details will be added to the database immediately. This enables you to be traced by an authorised body such as a dog warden who can scan your pet and read the microchip number. If your pet is lost while you are travelling in Europe, you can still be traced.
